We have been developing customised software for industrial applications for over 30 years. During this time, we have worked with customers and partners to develop solutions for a wide range of industries, primarily for the chemical industry, the automotive industry and medical technology. We support you in all phases of the development and maintenance of complex industrial metrology and image processing systems.
A particular focus is on the development of embedded systems and system-related software. We have experience in adapting Windows CE to customised hardware.
FORTecH Software started in 1990 as a spin-off of the University of Rostock. The portfolio included interactive development systems for desktop and embedded systems for the Forth programming language. With our development systems, we were able to win the programming competition organised as part of the Echtzeit congress trade fair several times.
In the second half of the 1990s, the company was renamed and reorientated towards the development of customer-specific software. In doing so, we were able to utilise our experience in the development of programming tools in innovative customer solutions.
Our company has established itself as a software service provider in the fields of process measurement technology, process data acquisition and visualisation as well as embedded applications. We have been developing customised platforms and applications, embedded systems and database applications for medium-sized companies and international corporations since 1990. We realise projects of all sizes in close cooperation with the research and development departments of our clients. We are constantly confronted with new challenges for which we develop innovative solutions. With our wide-ranging experience and our inventive concepts, we also act as a co-operation partner in the university sector.
Today, our customers come from all over Germany, Europe and the USA. We support them in the product definition phase, in absorbing peak loads and in realising particularly challenging tasks.
We have been a subsidiary of VELOMAT Group GmbH since 2020.
