We have been developing bespoke software for industrial applications for over 30 years. During this time, we have worked with clients and partners to create solutions for a wide range of sectors, particularly the chemical industry, the automotive industry and medical technology. We support you through all phases of the development and maintenance of complex systems in industrial measurement technology and image processing.
A particular focus is on the development of embedded systems and system-level software. We have experience in adapting Windows Embedded Compact to custom hardware.
FORTecH Software was founded in 1990 as a spin-off from the University of Rostock. Its portfolio included interactive development systems for desktop and embedded systems based on the Forth programming language. Using our development systems, we won the programming competition held as part of the Echtzeit conference and trade fair on several occasions.
In the second half of the 1990s, the company was renamed and reoriented towards the development of bespoke software. In doing so, we were able to apply our experience from the development of programming tools to innovative customer solutions.
Our company has established itself as a software service provider in the fields of process measurement technology, process data acquisition and visualisation, and embedded applications. Since 1990, we have been developing bespoke platforms and applications, embedded systems and database applications for medium-sized enterprises. We carry out projects of all sizes in close collaboration with our clients’ research and development departments. In doing so, we are constantly faced with new challenges, for which we devise innovative solutions. Drawing on our wide-ranging experience and inventive concepts, we also act as a cooperation partner in the academic sector.
Today, our clients come from across Germany, Europe and the USA. We support them during the product definition phase, in managing peak workloads and in implementing particularly demanding tasks.
Since 2020, we have been a subsidiary of VELOMAT Group GmbH.
